How do I calculate CBM exactly?

To calculate CBM:

1. Measure each box in centimetres (length × width × height)
2. Multiply all three dimensions and divide by 1,000,000 to convert cm³ to CBM
3. Sum the CBM of all boxes for the total

Example: A box measuring 60 cm × 50 cm × 40 cm = 60 × 50 × 40 = 120,000 cm³ ÷ 1,000,000 = 0.12 CBM.

For LCL shipments, most freight forwarders round up to 2 decimal places. Some carriers charge a minimum of 1 CBM regardless of actual volume.
